Man arrested in Mill Creek Park attack

Police have released details about a man charged with attacking a runner in Mill Creek Park on Friday.

They say a man reported he was jogging in the park near 45th Street and J.C.Nichols Parkway about 1 p.m. When he was in the northeast corner of the park, a suspect later identified as Terance Green jumped out from behind two trees.

Green then allegedly verbally accosted the victim and cut him in the leg.

According to the police report, the victim required stitches for the wounds.

Green was identified by two witnesses at the scene. He was taken into custody by police.
