The outcome of tomorrow’s election is important to Midtown, as the next city council will be elected. That council is expected to make important decisions about: whether or not to extend the streetcar line down Main Street; the downtown hotel, Kemper Arena and the airport; and how to encourage redevelopment of Midtown.
Polls open Tuesday for the municipal election at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
At stake are the mayor’s office, city council seats and retention of municipal judges.
