The city advises motorists that Kansas City’s Big Picnic event will temporarily close Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard between Rockhill Road and Oak Street on Sunday, July 20 from about 4-9 p.m. Detours will be posted.
The City’s Parks and Recreation Department will host Kansas City’s Big Picnic. This free celebration offers fun for the whole family. Enjoy Blue Bell ice cream, a StoneLion Puppet Theater puppet show, live music, croquet and badminton games and more! Bring your own food or order a picnic basket-for-four at www.nelson-atkins.org. Free parking is available at MRI Global, 425 Volker Blvd.
