Vendors sought for Midtown makers fair and flea market

The Whole Person, a Midtown nonprofit that helps people with disabilities lead independent lives, is inviting makers from the surrounding neighborhoods to participate in a Maker’s Fair and Flea Market on July 23.

The event is part of a two-day celebration (Saturday, July 23 and Monday, July 25) of the 26th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Whole Person, at 3710 Main Street, will hold both events in its parking lot.

The Monday, July 25 activities include a live band, speakers, food, and vendors.

The Saturday, July 23 celebration from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. includes a pancake breakfast and the Makers Fair and Flea Market, featuring handmade goods for sale by KC Artisans along with flea market finds. Vendors and community partners will also have tables with information to share.
