Here’s an update from the city on storm cleanup assistance.
The City Kansas City, Missouri has assembled resources in response to city-wide damage and debris as a result of a large storm overnight. A complete list of resources and updates can be found online at www.kcmo.gov/storm. City leadership has been working to assess damage since 2 a.m.; currently 1,500 City employees are responding to storm damage.
Residents may report fallen trees blocking the public right-of-way by contacting the 311 Action Center. Due to large call volumes, residents are encouraged to call 816-513-1313 or tweet @KCMO311. The 311 Action Center will remain open for extended hours this weekend.
Additionally, leaf and brush drop-off sites will be open throughout the weekend; fees for drop-off have been waived. Hours and locations for the drop off sites are as follows:
