They’re back! The Plaza bunnies (and there’s a map)

They’re kinda cool, kinda weird, and a Plaza tradition. The Plaza Easter bunnies are back out in courtyards and on street corners through April 1.

The bunnies were originally an idea to attract sales at Plaza stores during the Depression. They’re made of plaster of Paris and have been coated in fiber glass. Each year, Plaza workers repair them before setting them back out.

For kids, the Mermaid and Pomona courtyards, on the west side of Eddie Bauer, offer a collection of animals for children to play on.

The Plaza has also produced a map showing the location of all the animals, so you can make sure you see them all.
