It was a short week at the Midtown KC Post because of the Thanksgiving holiday last week.

There was news about the controversial future of Kemper Arena, as the American Royal said in a letter that it was halting planning and fund-raising for its $60 million plan to raze Kemper and replace it with a smaller building.

The Area Transit Authority (ATA) approved regional transit branding, a step toward a regional transportation system.

And as a developer planned an update on repurposing of Switzer School, we took a look back at its history.
