The city also steered people to its new website, kcmo.gov, which it says is an improvement because it offers a Google search bar.

There was news last week from both local universities. Rockhurst broke ground on a new academic building, while UMKC announced a new dean at the Bloch School of Management.

A new bank has opened in Midtown, and as Capitol Federal held its official ribbon cutting, it handed over a check to Operation Breakthrough and announced a relationship with the Kansas City Art Institute.
