Race alerts for weekend street closures

There are a couple of races you should know about if you’re going to be traveling around Midtown this weekend. Here are the details:

Rock the Parkway,  7:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9:  Rock the Parkway will begin at 9400 Ward Parkwway. The race will impact traffic along Ward Parkway, Wornall Rd., W. 57^th Terr., Belleview Ave., W. 61^st St., Pennsylvania Ave., W. 55^th St., W. 51^st St., W. 52^nd St., Summit St., W. 56^th St., and 83^rd. Color Vibe 5k | 9 a.m.  Saturday, April 9:  Color Vibe 5k will begin at Berkley Riverfront Park. The race will impact traffic along River Front Road and Front St. Additional race information,
