The Kansas City Police Department is hosting an open forum Saturday morning where community members can share concerns and ideas.
Here are details from the department:
The session will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Mohart Multipurpose Center, 3200 Wayne Ave.
Police commanders and community interaction officers will be there, along with someone from the Office of Community Complaints and the leaders of several city departments.
They will sit in the audience until 10:45 a.m. while community members speak.
After that, police commanders will meet individually with attendees.
Everyone from the community is invited to attend.
