Poke around in Union Hill gardens this weekend

If you’re looking for a great neighborhood event this weekend, check out the Union Hill Garden Tour Sunday, June 8 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The easily walkable tour features over a dozen residential and community gardens in a six block area. Plants will be available for purchase along the tour route and many tour participants are available to discuss their gardens.

Half of the proceeds will go the Union Cemetery Historical Society.

Details

  • Free parking is available at the entrance of the tour in the KCPT parking lot at 31st and Grand.
  • Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for seniors (over age 60). Kids under 12 are free.
