Plaza Art Fair starts at 5 p.m. today

This year’s Plaza Art Fair features 240 artists and live music on three stages. According to the Plaza website, the art fair started 80 years ago during the Depression. The Plaza wanted to lure shoppers by inviting 90 artists to display their paintings at the corner of Nichols Road and Central. Paintings were prices from $1 to ten dollars.
