Parents can get advice from parents about school options

If you’re still deciding where your children should go to kindergarten, there’s a chance to hear first hand from other parents about Midtown schools.

Show Me KC Schools, a nonprofit organization that helps parents learn about local school options, is hosting a “school swap” on Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bluford Library, 3050 Prospect.

At the swap, parent representatives from district, private and charter schools will be available to discuss their experiences at the following schools: Academy for Integrated Arts , Academie Lafayette, The Barstow School, Border Star Montessori,  Citizens of the World Charter Schools,  Crossroads Academy,  Hale Cook,  Hogan Preparatory Academy, 
 Hope Leadership Academy,  KIPP: Endeavor Academy,  Notre Dame de Sion,  St. Peter’s,  Scuola Vita Nuova,  University Academy, and Whitefield Academy .
