Midtown residents can now take the bus to night baseball games.

The extended hours for the 47-Broadway bus provide service to Kauffman Stadium on weeknights and Saturdays, the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority announced this week.

Besides the ballpark, that bus also serves Midtown neighborhoods, downtown, the Country Club Plaza, the east side and Blue Ridge Crossing.

After 6 p.m. on weekdays, it will provide hourly service until the last westbound bus leaves Blue Ridge Crossing at 11:15 p.m.

On Saturdays, the 47-Broadway will provide hourly service after 6 p.m. with the last westbound bus leaving at 11:17 p.m.

The closest stops to Kauffman Stadium for the eastbound 47 are northbound Blue Ridge Cutoff at 40th Terrace (near the Taco Bell) and northbound Blue Ridge Cutoff at 41st Street (outside of ITT Tech).

The closest stop for westbound 47 is on southbound Blue Ridge Cutoff between 41st Terrace and Stadium Entrance D Drive.
