Many private high schools in KC score well

Rankings for best private high schools in Missouri are out, and Kansas City has seven that rank in the top 30.

The highest ranked is the Pembroke Hill School in Midtown, which is number four in the 2015 Niche Rankings.

The rankings of more than 100,000 public and private schools nationwide are based on dozens of statistics and thousands of opinions.

Kansas City also has six other private high schools among the top 30 in the state.

Universal Academy is number nine and Notre Dame de Sion School is number 10.

Rockhurst High School is number 21, St. Teresa’s Academy in Midtown is number 23, Archbishop O’Hara High School is number 26 and Kansas City Academy is number 27.
