Every first Friday weekend, Urban Mining Homewares opens its doors for three days, Friday through Sunday. Urban Mining bills itself as a vintage market featuring affordable furniture, décor, gifts, architectural elements, antiques and handcrafted treasures. Since today’s the first Friday of the month, Urban Mining opens at 9 a.m. and will be open until 9 p.m. Tomorrow the hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday the hours are noon to 5 p.m.
In November and December, the market will also be open on Thursdays for holiday shopping.
Urban Mining is located at 3923 Main Street.
The booths at Urban Mining Homewares are restocked, just in time for the open of the market this weekend. Urban Mining is open only three days a month, the first Friday and following Saturday and Sunday. The store showcases the efforts of 38 artists and curators of vintage goods who spend the rest of the month putting together their displays of items for sale.
