Your chance to help set park improvement priorities

The parks department is offering a chance to help set priorities for future improvements to its parks, recreation facilities, programs and services.

You can give your input at a public forum Tuesday, June 24 at 6 p.m. at the Southeast Community Center in Swope Park, 4201 E. 63rd St.

The department says the forum will help to set an agenda for future improvements. It says the community input will help KC Parks take a resident-driven approach to making decisions that will enrich the future of our community and positively affect the lives of residents and children.
