Whether you’re a beginner, a seasoned recycler or, like most of us, somewhere in between, the Mid-America Regional Council Solid Waste Management District encourages you to make a conscious effort to recycle more.

A great way to get started is to visit RecycleSpot.org, where you can find information on where to recycle just about anything.

RecycleSpot.org is packed with information about what can be recycled, where to take it, why certain items can’t be recycled, and community-specific information on trash and recycling services. You can also find useful recycling information on Facebook and Twitter, with #Tuesday Tips, helpful ideas and innovations in waste reduction.

The Solid Waste Management District also invites businesses and organizations to get on board by joining Recycle More at Work. Participating businesses receive free technical assistance to help increase recycling and reduce waste, along with a toolkit with resources for employees.
