Hospice house on SW Trafficway open for tours Saturday

Visitors got a first look at the new hospice on Southwest Trafficway today. The public is invited to tour St. Luke’s new facility tomorrow.

St. Luke’s is inviting the public to tour its new Hospice House tomorrow.

According to St. Luke’s, the $10 million, free-standing hospice facility  houses 12 individual patient suites. The facility is 22,500 square feet and includes two acres of landscaped property.

The hospice sits above Roanoke Park on the site of the long-vacant Cresthaven Nursing Home.

  • Saint Luke’s Hospice House, 3516 Summit Street, (Between 35th and 36th St., on the west side of Southwest Trafficway)
  • Public parking will be available at Penn Valley Community College with shuttle service to the house. Park in the surface lot on the north side of 33rd Street between Southwest Trafficway and Broadway Street.
  •  Saturday, July 20, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
