Historic Kansas City and the Young Preservationists are putting on the event to provide information, assistance and networking opportunities to potential homebuyers and owners of historic properties. They’re also hoping to encourage and promote restoration, preservation and rehabilitation of historic housing stock.
At the expo, participants can learn about house styles, acquiring distressed properties, and what its like to live in a historic district, as well as the challenges and opportunities in buying an old house.
