Get a look inside the Katz Drug Store building

The Katz Drug Store building at Westport Road and Main Street, built in 1934, is one of Midtown’s most iconic.

Now you can get a look at the inside of the building as well as a preview of what’s planned.

But there’s a small catch. The event is only open to members of the Historic Kansas City Foundation.  It is the kickoff to a new series of Urban Explorers Tours for members only, held 4 times per year.

• Westport Rd. and Main St.
• $10 per person
• Flat, closed toed shoes required
• 3pm: Tour and exploration
• 4pm: Presentation and refreshments
