Four Midtown neighborhoods qualify for Google Fiber

Yesterday, Google challenged neighborhoods in Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri to rally together to be the first to get Google Fiber. That’s a package of Internet at 100 times the speed of the fastest Internet now available in Kansas City, plus a new television service. The first neighborhoods to get enough people to pre-register will be the first to get Fiber. Kansas City is the only place in the United States where Google Fiber will be available this fall.

This morning, Google shows that four Midtown neighborhoods have pre-qualified: Roanoke, Coleman Highlands, Volker South and South Hyde Park.
