This is the Midtown fountain in our fourth contest and the first person to email us with its address wins two tickets to the Jiggle Jam Family Music Festival.
The contest gives people a chance to show off their city smarts and is intended to raise awareness of the legacy of fountains.
The City of Fountains Foundation is mounting a fund raising campaign to raise $2.7 million to repair the eight fountains most in need. About half the city’s 48 fountains need work and the foundation also will help citizens and businesses adopt fountains to maintain them.
The foundation provides the tickets to the Jiggle Jam fest on Memorial Day weekend around the fountain at Crown Center.
People wanting to enter the fountain contest should email its street address to mjdraper@midtownkcpost.com and include your mailing address so the tickets can be sent to you.
The winner will be announced Monday, with a story on the fountain.
