Envision KC asks: what are your favorite neighborhoods?

At a meeting last week, the city ask residents to offer ideas for improving the arts in Kansas City. Now the conversation is continuing online…including a request for residents to rank their favorite areas of the city, including Midtown.

The city has been asking residents for input into a major revamp of its arts policy.

In a series of public meetings recently, residents offered suggestions and ideas for making Kansas City’s arts community more vibrant, and for how the arts can help the city flourish.

The discussion is going on in an Internet forum as well.

People are posting photos to illustrate their ideas.

The city has also posed the question: What are your favorite districts or neighborhoods in Kansas City? The responses so far:
