The city says that crews will perform a city-wide sweep targeting and removing signs illegally placed in the public right-of-way on Friday, Sept. 5.
Under city codes, unauthorized signs in the right-of-way or on public property are prohibited and subject to removal and disposal by City staff or individuals authorized by the director of Neighborhood and Community Services. Violations of the sign ordinance may also be prosecuted in municipal court.
