The Police Department’s Central Patrol is inviting the community to an informal get together on Tuesday, April 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at 1200 E. Linwood.
Commander of Central Patrol Division, Major Wadle, says it is a chance to meet the new watch commanders from the evening and overnight shifts.
It will also be a chance for the community to say goodbye to Officer Jim Schriever, who is retiring, and to meet his replacement as community information officer, Andy Hamil.
The officers say they will also be on hand to address any community concerns.
