Drink up: Boil order cancelled


The boil order for Midtown has been cancelled.

At 11:24 a.m., Kansas City Water Services ended a precautionary boil water advisory for customers in the area SW Trafficway to Holmes Road, and 30th Street to 39th Street.

Kansas City Water Services said it has sampled and tested the tap water in this area to ensure water quality and safety.

“Water tests conducted on the tap water in this area have returned results which confirm water quality, and the tap water in this area meets the high standards for public drinking water. Kansas City Water Services confirms that residents in this area are no longer advised to boil water before drinking,” it said.
