Shortly after police notified the community that Essence Willoughby had been reported missing, they now say a body that matches her description was found today in a wooded area near Van Brunt and Leeds. A search party of family members and police found the body about 2 p.m. today. Police are working to confirm the identity of the body and the case is being investigated as a homicide.
