FullSizeRender[1]Repurposed furniture, garden items and more will be available tomorrow at an arts show of a somewhat different palette.

Young people in the MyArts program will be showing off their work as part of the annual benefit for the program Saturday evening in the Crossroads District.

MyARTS, intended to divert youth from drugs, violence and crime, is part of the Jackson County anti-drug effort.

Experts say the arts program also helps more youth finish high school and attend college.

The event is Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at ArtsTech at 1522 Holmes St.

There will also be a tour of reimagined living spaces featuring art by the youths and a display of the spring T-shirt collection.

It will also include a silent auction and entertainment.
