A local TV station is reporting that one suspect has been charged in a series of armed robberies across Midtown last weekend. Police think he is part of the group of young men responsible for at least six armed robberies on Friday and Saturday night.
The crimes occurred at 36th and Belleview; 42nd and Oak Streets; 1100 block of W. 46th Street; 42nd Street and Virginia Avenue; 46th and Jefferson Street; and 4500 block of Washington Street.

Fox 4 News says Fayevion Pettiford, 18, has been charged with first degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.
