A man faces a second-degree murder charge in a death of a woman found dead in the shower of a Midtown motel room.
Paul W. Simmons, 25, was arrested for the murder of Brenda E. Anderson, 49, who died Feb. 1 at the motel on the 3200 block of Broadway.
According to court records:
After hearing screams, people found Anderson’s body and called police.
They found a business card in the room with Simmons name written on the back of it. Surveillance video showed a man matching his description going into and out of the room.
A hat worn by the man in the video was the same as a hat worn by Simmons on his Facebook page.
And fingerprints found in the room matched Simmons. Police arrested him Sunday.
