AIDS Walk will impact traffic on Plaza Saturday

Two scheduled race events are expected to impact traffic in Kansas City on Saturday, and Sunday. Road closures for the races are as follows:

Saturday, April 25 | AIDS Walk | 10 a.m. -11:30 p.m.

AIDS Walk will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Frank A. Thesis Park. The race will impact traffic along Oak St., Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd., Volker Blvd., J.C. Nichols Pkwy., Mill Creek Park, 43rd St., 43rd St., Rockhill Rd., Cherry St., and 52nd St. Additional race information, including a map of the race, can be found online at  http://kcraceday.org/races/aids-walk-2/.

Sunday, April 26 | Trolley Run | 7:45 a.m.- 10:30 a.m.

The Trolley Run will begin at 7:45 a.m. at 75th and Wornall. The race will impact traffic along 75th St., Wornall Rd., Gregory Blvd., Main St., 69th  St., Brookside Blvd., Meyer Blvd., Ward Parkway and Central St. Additional race information, including a map of the race, can be found online at http://kcraceday.org/races/ccvi-trolley-run/.
