With spring finally, maybe, on it’s way, are you ready to think about gardening?
The Westport Garden Club hopes so. The group is inviting you to a tour of six of its members’ gardens on May 18. The tour is a benefit for Powell Gardens.
You will enter two of the gardens through the homes, and a conservatory will be open at a third. All of the gardens will be set up for garden entertaining scenarios.
The gardens are in Sunset Hill, Mission Hills, Prairie Village, and Fairway.
The Westport Garden Club was founded in 1950 by 11 charter members. It’s the only garden club in the Kansas City area to be a member of The Garden Club of America.
The event also includes a gift shop and a Fairy garden raffle donated by Red Cedar Gardens.
