The Whole Person invited neighbors in to its newly-opened headquarters yesterday. The building is being widely celebrated as perhaps the first building on the Historic Register to also incorporate universal design, meaning the building is completely accessible to people with disabilities. The headquarters is in the former Goodenow Textile Company at 3710 Main. The Whole Person is a Center for Independent Living that provides a full range of community services to people with disabilities.
