This week at First Friday, remember to check out the Whole Person’s Expressions Art Show.

The Whole Person is a nonprofit that provides services to people with disabilities.  Its annual art show allows artists with disabilities to showcase their talents and share their stories with the community.

Featured artists this year include: Sherri Acosta, Jeffrey Todd Belk, Alexandra Cluck, Austin Dearth, Marci Eddings, Robert Gray, Sean Houlihan, Jerry Norris, Kassidee Quaranta, Kaci Story, Kevin Walters, and Elli Walker.

  • Expressions: a First Friday Art Show Friday, May 2nd – 5pm-9pm
  • EventPort (a.k.a. OfficePort) – 208 W. 19th St., KCMO
  • Live music, raffle package, wine, and hors d’oeuvres
  • NOTE: Expressions is in a new location this year! EventPort is on West 19th Street, between Central and Wyandotte. Parking will be limited, so please plan accordingly. The accessible entrance is on the right/east side of the building and will be marked. Other accommodations include braille and large-print programs, descriptive audio tours, and sign language interpretation.
