Organizers are hoping to bring off the largest picnic ever held in this part of the country this Sunday. The Donald J. Hall Sculpture Park on the front lawn of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art will be linked to Theis Park to its south to become one giant picnic space. It’s part of a celebration of National Parks and Recreation month, as well as the 25th anniversary of the 22-acre sculpture park.
