The Volker Neighborhood Association has several interesting topics on its agenda this Thursday and is inviting folks from other neighborhoods to attend if they’re interested.
The main topic will be an overview of the Jackson County Medical Research Tax, which will be on the November ballot. Speakers will be a representative of the city and the president of the League of Women Voters of Kansas City, Jackson, Clay, and Platte Counties.
The program also includes a short presentation on the Affordable Care Act and how to enroll in health insurance plans, and an update on the rezoning campaign in Volker.
