Two races impact weekend traffic

runnersTwo scheduled race events are expected to impact traffic in Kansas City south, and in the 18th and Vine Jazz District on Saturday, November 8. Road closures for the races are as follows:

JayDoc 5k | 9 -11 a.m.: The JayDoc Free Clinic 5k benefit race will begin at 9 a.m. at the Kauffman Foundation, located at 4801 Rockhill Rd. The race will impact traffic along the Brush Creek trail on Rockhill Road, Oak Street, Broadway, Ward Parkway. Map 

Buck O’Neil 5K | 8 – 11 a.m.: The Buck O’Neil Negro Leagues Baseball Museum 5K benefit race will begin at 8 a.m. The race will impact traffic on 17th Terrace, Paseo Boulevard, 12th Street, Woodland Avenue, 22nd Street, Vine and 24th Street. Map
