Two churches on Troost, St. James Catholic Church and St. Mark Hope and Peace, are hosting a concert to benefit their ministries.
The two have teamed up for Music on Troost, an ecumenical endeavor that brings musical groups to the neighborhood to build community.
On Oct. 12, the musical guests will be the Goldenberg Duo, which includes Kansas City Symphony violinist Susan Goldenberg and Northern Illinois University pianist William Goldenberg. They’ll be playing selections by Bartok, Chopin, Kovacs, Peterson, Dvorak, and more.
