Trash collection delayed, city offices closed on Labor Day

The city’s map of trash collection shows the usual neighborhood collection days. Most of Midtown, the areas shown in blue, normally have trash pickup on Monday. The areas in yellow normally have pickup on Tuesday.
Pickup will be delayed one day on Sept. 3 for Labor Day.

City trash pickup will be delayed one day due to the upcoming Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 3. For most of Midtown, that means the pickup for neighborhoods that usually have trash collection on Monday will be delayed until Tuesday. City of Kansas City, MO, offices will be closed Monday, September. 3. The 3-1-1 Action Center, a division of the City Manager’s Office, also will be closed for the holiday.
