The mayor wants to showcase your big ideas

The mayor’s office is inviting individuals and neighborhoods to submit innovative projects for an upcoming ideas fair.

Mayor James wants to showcase projects impacting public health, sustainability, technology and new media, crime prevention and arts and culture.

The goal is to crowdsource best practices and exchange ideas for community development, and the mayor will be one hand at the fair to meet participants and learn about their projects.

The fair will also include attend community-building workshops, and information about neighborhood services.

“This new event is a great way for residents to both learn more about our community’s resources and actively participate in making Kansas City best,” said Mayor James.  “Kansas Citians are innovative people and I am looking forward to seeing the ideas they have for the City.”
