The school district sold another Midtown surplus school yesterday.
Swinney, at 1106 W. 47th, was sold to Kansas City Sustainable Development Partners.
It will be reused as a combination of residential apartments and office space.
“Don’t be surprised to see construction activity already, as KCSDP is removing a non-historic addition so that the site can be eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places,” the district said in a Facebook post.
