Someone in KCK is getting Google Fiber right now

Today’s the day, according to Google Fiber. They’ve started connecting homes in Kansas City to the new ultra-high-speed Internet and TV service they are rolling out in the metro area. Installation will begin in Kansas City, Kansas, over in the Hanover Heights neighborhood. That’s between State Line Road and Rainbow Boulevard,  Olathe Boulevard and West 43rd Avenue.

Folks in Midtown won’t get wired until next spring at the earliest.
