Snowplows are working this weekend

Good news for those of us still stuck on snow-covered residential streets.

City snow crews will continue running primary and arterial routes overnight to ensure that these roads are adequately cleared. Snow crews will suspend residential routes tonight at 7 p.m. and resume tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 23 at 7 a.m.

According to the city,  100 percent of primary and arterial routes have been run and 75 percent of residential routes have had at least one pass. Residential crews will complete the remaining routes and then re-run routes with slick spots tomorrow.

In addition, the City’s 311 Call Center will be open Saturday, Feb. 23 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents may report missed spots to the 311 Call Center by calling 311 or 816-513-1313 or online at www.kcmo.org/311.
