Shop really local at 43rd and McGee

For those who like to shop local, check out the 43^rd Place Market at the corner of 43^rd and McGee on June 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Folks in the Southmoreland neighborhood have organized the event. They hope it will encourage people to support local businesses and get to know their neighbors.

The market will include food, arts and crafts and other items.

A rain date is set for June 20.
