Westport’s Santa Dash, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5, is expected to bring around a thousand Santas in running shoes to Westport. The annual race event is a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City.
Everyone who registers for the 5K race gets a Santa suit.
The race takes place in Westport, so there will be some street closings along the route. The race begins at 10 a.m.
