Restaurants participating in Saturday’s efforts for JJs employees

Tomorrow, people dining in more than 70 restaurants in the Kansas City area will be helping the victims of the JJs explosion.

The Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association (GKCRA) has organized the effort. Participating restaurants will donate 10 percent of sales tomorrow, Saturday, February 23, to support employees injured in the fire.

The association says the donations will be given to JJ’s Restaurant owner, Jimmy Frantze, and his management team to help his staff convalesce.

The number of participating establishments has been growing all day. As of this post, there are 74 on the list. There may be more by tomorrow. Check the websites below for updates.

In addition to the ten percent donation from the participating restaurants, diners will also have the chance to make freewill donations at the participating restaurants.
