The West 39th Street business district has a new director, and she says it’s impossible to be bored in the eclectic business district.

Kansas City gets some respect in two recent ratings by ranker.com, one of them on the coolness factor, ranking #13 in the list of coolest cities.

We brought you the information that the city is cracking down on parking and loading zoning violations downtown because of increased activity and the coming of the streetcar line. The city also alerted residents to enhancements in the 311 system for reporting problems, which it says should making lodging a complaint easier.
