The parks department held a series of meetings to gather input about the development standards it is hoping to adopt.

At city hall, the council considered a new tool for combatting party houses, drug houses and other chronic nuisance properties.

The council also talked again about the need for a new downtown hotel.

A developer for the Catholic Diocese came back with a new proposal for religious student housing on Troost, but the community still had a lot of questions and concerns.
