Voters went to the polls last week to decide several state constitutional amendments. They also decided they did not want to set up a transportation development district to support an expanded streetcar system, but Mayor James said the effort to build more streetcar lines will continue.

The school district celebrated the announcement it has regained provisional accreditation, meaning in part that students no longer have the option to transfer to neighboring districts.

And the work is complete on the Cleaver Boulevard streetscape, so the area is about to go orange in celebration.
